This Lunch&Learn is worth 1.5 HRCI and SHRM credits.

Every year, several employment attorneys from Barley Snyder thoughtfully prepare and revise a sample Employee handbook. This comprehensive handbook is designed for all companies of all sizes, and it is formatted for easy editing and ready to use language. Sections include:

  • Policies and practices surrounding employee benefits such as Family Medical Leaves of Absences, Workers Compensation, and Paid Time off
  • Human Resources policies and procedures such as Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, Sexual and Other Harassment, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Wage and Salary Program.
  • Benefits and policies an owner may need when running a business.  
Sign up for this Employee Handbook workshop and the attorneys from Barley Snyder will walk you through the current handbook. After attending the session, you will receive a copy of the handbook to edit and create for your business.

Kevin Moore is a partner at Barley Snyder's Employment and Litigation practice groups and chairs the Labor Law Practice Group, helping clients with legal challenges in employment and labor law and working as counsel for business in litigation. Helping the business community stay up and running, Kevin prolifically lectures to businesses and to attorneys on all areas of employment, labor and commercial and construction litigation. He is an approved EEOC trainer, federal court arbitrator, and guest lecturer at local colleges and universities. Kevin also is a Berks County Court Arbitrator and Discovery Master.
 

Susanna Fultz is a member of the firm’s Employment and Litigation practice groups. She serves both businesses and individual clients. Susanna is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Susanna attended the University of Delaware, where she earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts, cum laude. Susanna then graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law. While in law school, Susanna interned at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, and participated in several international clinics in Europe and Asia.
