Legislative Roundtable: Manufacturing Growth from Attraction to Expansion

Join the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance for a timely Manufacturing Roundtable featuring U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser and State Rep. Jamie Barton, who represents Berks County on Pennsylvania's State Economic Competitiveness Caucus. This discussion will bring together manufacturers, business leaders, and policymakers to explore how federal, state, and local partners can work together to strengthen Pennsylvania's manufacturing sector.

The conversation will focus on the full manufacturing pipeline, from attracting new investment and supporting business expansion to retaining existing employers and developing the workforce and supply chains needed for long-term success. Participants will have the opportunity to share challenges, discuss policy priorities, and identify practical strategies that enhance the competitiveness of manufacturers in Greater Reading and across Pennsylvania.

This interactive roundtable is designed to foster meaningful dialogue between industry leaders and elected officials while highlighting the policies, partnerships, and investments that will shape the future of manufacturing in our region.

Speaker Bios:
U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser | PA 9th Congressional District
Dan Meuser is a conservative problem solver and brings his experience as a proven job creator and former Revenue Secretary of Pennsylvania to Congress.  In 2019, Dan Meuser was sworn in as a member of the 116th Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District. Congressman Meuser, now in his fourth term, currently serves on the House Financial Services Committee where he is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. He also serves on the House Small Business Committee. Rep.
