According to the seminal work of psychologists Robert Yerkes and John Dodson a century ago (Yerkes-Dodson law), without stress, there is no productivity. But we all know that stress, beyond a certain level, is counterproductive. Stress and tension live at the intersection of one’s perceived “challenge” and one’s perceived “ability” around something. In today’s covid environment, where we question our ability to survive and thrive professionally and personally in today’s unpredictable environment, it is critical that we understand how to identify and manage stress and turn it into productivity. This session will not teach you another breathing exercise to make that happen. Instead, you will walk away with a practical approach to identify and manage stress for yourself and others during the age of covid and beyond.
