The Entry-Level Installer supports the professional installation of window and door systems by assisting experienced installers in the field. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to grow their skills in the trades while contributing to the delivery of exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.

This team member will learn hands-on through jobsite experience and regular training while playing a vital role in maintaining our standards for quality, cleanliness, and professionalism. As skills develop, this individual may take on increased responsibility and begin leading small installation tasks under supervision.

Key responsibilities

Installation Support

• Assist with the safe removal and disposal of existing windows and doors
• Help prepare job sites and organize materials, tools, and workspaces
• Learn to properly install a variety of window and door products
• Apply weather barriers, insulation, caulking, and finish trim
• Clean and reset the job site daily to ensure a professional appearance
• Operate power tools and hand tools with supervision and safety

Customer Experience

• Represent Spring House in a courteous and professional manner
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners on-site
• Uphold company values and promote confidence in our workmanship

Growth & Quality

• Participate in on-the-job training and educational sessions
• Learn measuring, leveling, and product adjustment techniques
• Begin taking responsibility for minor quality checks
• Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to improving trade skills
• Support the team by maintaining clean tools, organized trucks, and efficient workflows

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of tools and construction concepts (preferred)
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, use ladders, and work outdoors
• Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience

• Some hands-on experience with home improvement, carpentry, or trades (a plus)
• Desire to grow into a skilled lead installer over time
