Connections Work (formerly Berks Connections / Pretrial Services – BCPS) is a 501c-3 nonprofit agency that provides programs and supports to individuals with justice involvement, those with similar barriers and to their families.
Our reentry workforce development programs equip returning citizens with the tools and support necessary to become productive members of our community. Our Family Connections programs serve to lessen the negative impact on children and families affected by parental incarceration. Additionally, Connections Work serves as the court appointed County Pretrial Services agency with services focused on interviewing and assessing defendants’ risk and providing the information to the Court, supervising defendants on pretrial release, and providing staffing and assistance to the county’s diversionary programs.
Connections Work has a growing list of employers who utilize our talent pool, thanks to the efforts of our Employment Development Team. Learn more about the benefits of being a fair-chance employer: HelpWithHiring@ConnectionsWork.org.
