FBA Peer Group Reception at Building 24
Each year we celebrate the development and work of our Peer Group family business members at a local family business over appetizers, drinks, and networking. Since the Groups only meet in their own circles, this event gives all Peer Group members the opportunity to meet one another and expand their networks.
Building 24 Kitchen and Bar, opened in 2010, is a family owned and operated restaurant and bar located in Wyomissing, PA specializing in sourcing local ingredients for both our food and beverage menus. Their ever changing wine list is comprised of small, sustainable wineries from all over the world. Originally started as ?The Works? in 2002, in the former ?Textile Machine Works? building, which dates back to 1896 and the origins of the textile industry in the Wyomissing area, the name was inspired by the industrial history of the building, and their tagline ?geared for fun? expresses our company?s greater purpose and promise. "The Works" is still in operation and growing, catering to fun-loving arcade and adventure seekers, where Building 24 is a high-end restaurant and bar now offering a private event space.
Chip White, owner of The Works, is helped by the rest of his family, all of whom have a role in the growing dining and entertainment destination in Wyomissing. Daughters Caitlin & Kelsey White and wife Joann White. Brands within The Works include:
ABOUT PEER GROUPS
Facilitated by professionals in their field, the FBA Peer Discussion Group Program is a great way to gather with your peers, share common problems and experiences, and to learn how to deal with your unique situations facing your business.
We allow only one participant per group from each industry segment in order to avoid competitive concerns. To promote camaraderie and trust, enrollment is designed for a designated individual (not meant for a company to send different people at different times).
Enrollment is limited to Chamber members.
Peer groups meet a minimum of 8-10 times per year.
Annual participation fee is $500.
